The Problem with “Girlboss” Feminism: When Advocacy Loses Its Purpose
There are many women advocates today who seem to have drifted away from the very reason their platforms existed in the first place: to educate, support, and fight for women. They may never openly declare that they have abandoned this mission, but their actions often suggest otherwise. Instead of addressing the realities of women’s lives, many promote ideas that sound empowering on the surface yet fail to confront the deeper problems women continue to face. In this essay, I want to discuss my concerns as a woman and share what I genuinely think and feel.
